Pharmaceutical firm Lundbeck Italia has taken 1,260 sq m (13,562 sq ft) of office space on the sixth floor of Largo Donegani 2, at the junction with Via della Moscova 3, in central Milan. Lundbeck was represented by international real estate advisor Savills.
Pharmaceutical firm Lundbeck Italia has taken 1,260 sq m (13,562 sq ft) of office space on the sixth floor of Largo Donegani 2, at the junction with Via della Moscova 3, in central Milan. Lundbeck was represented by international real estate advisor Savills.
The property, which is located in Milan's central business district (CBD), was built at the end of the 1930s, designed by influential twentieth century Italian architect Gió Ponti. Lundbeck will move in to the building this summer once refurbishment work has been completed.
Eros Chiodoni, Head of Office Agency at Savills Italy, says: "This is a good letting for Lundbeck in Milan's CBD. Last year overall take up increased by over 35% in the Milanese office market compared with 2009, and activity so far in 2011 is also looking healthy. We are expecting prime office rents to remain stable throughout 2011, any rental growth will be in the submarkets where demand is more evident."
